Groundhog Day

This holiday is way more interesting than I ever realized. I had always thought of it as sort of a joke, but it actually is an ancient celebration that occurs on a "cross-quarter day," or the time midway between a solstice and an equinox. So in reality, Groundhog Day is a holiday with timing tied to the cosmos.
